It's Marine Day! The unofficial first day of summer vacation beckons, and the Sailor Senshi follow its siren call to the bustling town of Yokohama. Usagi, Rei, and Ami are not the only people travelling to Yokohama for the summer, though, and a scheming wizard named Badamon has a plan in store for Senshi and Samurai alike. Is Sailor Mars ready for a duel with Nise Suiko?

Despite his apparent defeat the previous day, the thought of Nise Suiko looms large in the minds of both Shin Mouri and Rei Hino, as the two teens urge their respective teams on to Nango Beach for the Day Break Festival. Turbulent visions of impending doom haunt both Shin and Rei, as their new enemy plans his next move, and prepares to lure them all into his trap....

Things may be heating up in Yokohama, but back in good old Tokyo, Makoto Kino has problems of a more pressing matter to concern her. With her scholastic future in peril, a desperate call for help is answered by resident genius Touma Hashiba, the Samurai Trooper of Tenku! Word of Radanthus and his evil plans has reached even into the realm of Elysion, and Elios soon finds himself facing Nise Suiko in the very heart of their dark citadel! Acting under Jadeite's orders, the youma ninja Oniwabandanna infiltrates Badamon's inner sanctum and learns a potentially fatal secret about Nise Suiko... Meanwhile, both Ryo and Ami make it back to their respective homes after their unexpected encounter, and recieve two very different welcomes. At the same time, on the other side of the world, a small transport plane carries Petz and Kaolinite into the depths of the Arctic wastelands, and ever closer to a dangerous and disturbing place known only as "D-Point". What kind of horrors await them there, and will they be able to survive each other long enough to find out?

Radanthus sends his hand-picked assassin Xiang Yao on a mission of extermination that sees her first disrupting the plans of Seiji Date and Minako Aino with a savage attack on board their train, then moving on to Yokohama to seek out and destroy any Senshi she can find. Ail and Ann, meanwhile, have infiltrated the Dark Kingdom and are having a bit of difficulty getting established with their mission, what with all the youma attacking them. Shin Mouri, Rei Hino, and Shuu Rei Fuan all find their own little ways to adjust to the knowledge that two of their friends may soon become a couple, and Xiang Yao prepares to attack her chosen targets: Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon....

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury are hard pressed, as Xiang Yao and her youma minions close in on them from all directions. Across town, Rei Hino and Shin Mouri are racing to the rescue, but they may not make it in time to make a difference. Ryo Sanada and Shuu Rei Fuan are on their way, too, but with Nise Suiko already on the scene, this is one rescue mission that is starting to look more and more like a giant trap. Whose side is the crimson armoured Suiko on? And why is Xiang Yao acting like this is all just another part of her plan?

The Medeans have been tracking Sailor Jupiter since she first arrived in the Castle of Eternal Regret, and now they have found the perfect chance to strike! Makoto, Touma, and Shutendoji soon find themselves in a race against not only a swelling army of blood-crazed youma, but the sinister presence of the wraiths who haunt their world as well, and the only hope for respite may be within the castle walls themselves. Meanwhile, Ail and Ann are continuing with their part of the rescue mission, but when they blunder into still more of Jadeite's elite troops, can even their trusted cardians keep them from being captured?
